GLOBAL WARMING AND ENVIRONMENT

OF the whole of the world 3 parts is water which includes ice also. Just imagine what would happen if all this ice turns into water and the water level also increase. What a dreadful and terrible condition, would it lead to?  Almost all the land area would be submerged in water. This is the foreseen after effect of Global Warming.
The major reason for global warming is the increased amount of oxides of carbon in the environment. This increased amount of oxides of carbon is produced in the environment due to pollution. Pollution of various types leads to Global warming or increased amount of these pollutants in air. Pollution due to combustion mainly incomplete combustion of fuel or other substances leads to enormous production of these pollutants. Other major reason for the increase of these pollutants in atmosphere is auto mobile pollution. The exhaust produced from automobiles contains a variety of very toxic and dangerous pollutants. But these pollutants causing Global warming acts like slow poison to the environment.
The accumulation of these pollutants in the air can cause many hazardous effects to the environment. In normal conditions, the sunlight that comes to the earth is reflected back. But due to the accumulation of these pollutants these sunrays are blocked in the atmosphere. As a result majority of the sunrays cause increase of temperature of the earth.
‘Green House Effect’ is another terminology associated with Global warming. As we all know Green House are used in temperate or cold region to pressure the heat inside a room or particular environment and is mainly used for agricultural purpose. The same effect is caused by these pollutants when they accumulate in the environment. This cause a general heating of the atmosphere or environment. Thus these pollutants acts as ‘heaters’ and increases the temperature of the atmosphere.
As a result of this rise in temperature, the polar ice cubes starts melting and thus the level of water in the water bodies like oceans, sea etc. also increases. Gradually all the land area gets submerged in water. Due to the rise in temperature of the atmosphere many organisms also gets hazardously influenced. To many organisms specially cold blooded animals like fish, which cannot tolerate sudden increases or decreases of temperature Global warming is deadly. So others its effects are gradual. The bad effects of global warming gets retained in the atmosphere and acts deadly. The melting of ice caps can cause the extinction of many organisms that live in temperate region like the polar Bears and Penguins. Most of the water- living organisms or organisms in water are cold-blooded and hence Global warming effect aquatic organisms including aquatic animals and aquatic plants haphazardly. Finally as the water level of the major water bodies like oceans increases, it causes threat to the life of terrestrial animals also. So while glaring at a bird’s view, global warming is a serious threat to the entire life on this earth.
As it is now clear that Global warming is a threat to the bulk of the environment and the myriad number of organisms living own it, serious measured should be taken for the control of Global warming. The major leap that should be taken to control Global warming is to regulate the causes of pollution. The deadly exhaust coming from automobiles should be treated before exhaustion into the atmosphere. The will prevent the oxides of carbon which causes Global warming from permeating into the atmosphere. The combustion of waste materials which is another major cause of Global warming should be done under controlled conditions without causing any danger to the environment. The pollutants from factories and other industries which are the other causes of Global warming should also be treated properly before release into the environment. Otherwise Global warming can be a serious threat to the environment. Eco friendly vehicles and methods can be adopted in the industries and factory which can lead to sufficient reduction to the Global warming.
Global warming is serious threat to the environment. Hence measured should be taken to prevent Global warming. The Government  and other responsible authorities should gear up the actions required for the control of Global warming. The embarrassing situations of releasing factors effluents into water and other visible pollutions in the environment with the permission of authorities should be ceased. Otherwise it will lead the extinction of the entire life on earth.
