മന്ദഹാസം എന്നിലുള്ളിലൊളിപ്പിച്ചു.
പെട്ടെന്നു കാല്‍പെരുമാറ്റം കേട്ടപ്പോള്‍

M.E.S. an Umbrella Organization
Muslim Educational Society was founded in 1964 at Calicut under the tutelage of the inspiring personality Late Dr. Abdul Gafoor. From its humble beginning M.E.S. has become one of the top notch educational agencies in Kerala with a network of schools and colleges. During the initial stages M.E.S. encouraged education among the members of its community by awarding scholarships. The commitment and understanding spirit shown by the M.E.S. to impart knowledge to the educationally under privileged class of society have gained wide respect and reputation. The present growth and structure of M.E.S. owe much to the vision and futuristic thoughts of Dr. Abdul Gafoor. M.E.S. entered the higher education field by setting up colleges in the northern parts of Kerala. Presently M.E.S. has colleges at Kalladi, Ponnani, Kodungallur, Mambad, Valanchery, Nedumkandam, Chathamangalam, Vadakara and Marampally. Recently it has started a medical college at Perinthalmanna. The M.E.S. Engineering College of Kuttipuram is on top of the rest.

III. This temple of learning has been along cherished dream of the M.E.S., and this young baby is flourished under the loving care and is blossoming to its glory.
IV. The college is situated in the land sufficiently far from the madding crowd of Cochin City, at Edathala about 4 km from Aluva town in Ernakulam District. It is also near to the International Airport, Nedumbassery, Kochi.
V. M.E.S. Training College has been established with the noble objective of providing quality training to the people in general and backward classes in particular. The major aim is to work for the educational, social and economic advancement of India in all possible ways.
VI. The college has from the very beginning placed emphasis on delivering quality education and hopes to be a centre of excellence in the years to come. The college provides an impetus to the thought process, attitude and to become an instrument of social change. 2009-2010 യൂണിയന്‍ റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ട്
അധ്യാപകര്‍ സാമൂഹ്യ പരിഷ്കര്‍ത്താക്കളാണ്. ഒരു സമൂഹത്തെ മുഴുവന്‍ നേര്‍വഴിയിലൂടെ നടത്തുവാന്‍ ഉത്തരവാദിത്തപ്പെട്ടവര്‍. കുടുംബത്തിനും സമൂഹത്തിനും ഉപകാരപ്പെടുംവിധം പുതിയ തലമുറയെ മാറ്റിപ്പണിയേണ്ടവര്‍, തലമുറകളോളം വെളിച്ചം നല്‍കേണ്ടവര്‍, ഇത്തരത്തില്‍ ഉന്നത വ്യക്തിത്വങ്ങളെ വളര്‍ത്തിയെടുക്കുകയെന്ന ഭാരിച്ച ഉത്തരവാദിത്വം ഓരോ ട്രെയ്നിംഗ് കോളേജുകളും നിര്‍വഹിക്കുന്നു.

2010 ഫെബ്രുവരി 16^ാം തീയതി എം.ഇ.എസ് ട്രെയിനിംഗ് കോളജ് ചെയര്‍മാന്‍ എ.എം. അബുബക്കര്‍ സാറിന്റെ അധ്യക്ഷതയില്‍ നടന്ന ചടങ്ങില്‍ ഈ വര്‍ഷത്തെ യൂണിയന്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങള്‍ ഔപചാരികമായി ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തു. കോളേജ് യൂണിയന്റെ ഉദ്ഘാടനം നിര്‍വഹിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് കാലടി സംസ്കൃത യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റി മുന്‍ വൈസ് ചാന്‍സലര്‍ ഡോ. കെ. രാധാകൃഷ്ണന്‍ നടത്തിയ പ്രസംഗം അധ്യാപകരാകാന്‍ പോകുന്ന വിദ്യാര്‍ത്ഥികളുടെ മനസസില്‍ ആഴത്തില്‍ പതിയുന്ന ഒന്നായിരുന്നു. അധ്യാപകര്‍ സമൂഹത്തിന്റെ പുരോഗതിക്കായി ജീവിതം ഉഴിഞ്ഞ് വെയ്ക്കേണ്ടവരാണെന്നും ഇത്തരത്തിലുള്ള സമര്‍പ്പണം അധ്യാപകരില്‍ നിന്നും ഉണ്ടാകേണ്ടതാണ്. വര്‍ത്തമാനകാല സമൂഹത്തിലെ പല മൂല്യച്യുതികള്‍ക്കും മൂലകാരണമെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു. ഇന്നത്തെ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസരംഗം നേരിടുന്ന ഒട്ടേറെ വെല്ലുവിളികളെക്കുറിച്ച് വിലയേറിയ അഭിപ്രായങ്ങള്‍ അദ്ദേഹം പങ്കുവെയ്ക്കുകയുണ്ടായി.
കായികരംഗം
വിദ്യാര്‍ത്ഥികളുടെ സന്മൂലമായ ഉന്നമനം ലക്ഷ്യമാക്കുക എന്ന ഉദ്ദേശ്യത്തോടെ നടത്തപ്പെട്ട കായികമാമാങ്കത്തലില്‍ ഒട്ടേറെ പ്രതിഭകള്‍ മല്‍സരിക്കുകയും കഴിവ് തെളിയിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. കായിക അധ്യാപകന്‍ ശ്രീജിത്ത് സാറിന്റെയും ജനറല്‍ ക്യാപ്റ്റന്‍ നിനുവിന്റെയും നേതൃത്വത്തില്‍ മീറ്റിംഗ്് സംഘടിപ്പിക്കുകയം ഫെബ്രുവരി 20^ാം തീയതി ശ്രീജിത്ത് സാറിന്റെ മറ്റ് അധ്യാപകരുടെയും നേതൃത്വത്തില്‍ സ്പോര്‍ട്സ് മീറ്റ് നടത്തുകയും ചെയ്തു. വര്‍ണ്ണശബളമായ മാര്‍ച്ച്പാസ്റ്റോടെ തുടങ്ങിയ സ്പോര്‍ട്സ് മീറ്റ് മുന്‍ ഇന്ത്യന്‍ ഫുട്ബാള്‍ താരമായ ആന്‍സന്‍ ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തു. തുടര്‍ന്ന് വാശിയേറിയ മല്‍സങ്ങള്‍ നടന്നു. മല്‍സരങ്ങളില്‍ ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതല്‍ പോയിന്റോടെ എമറാള്‍ഡ് ഹൌസ് ഗ്രൂപ്പ് ചാമ്പ്യന്‍മാരായി. ആണ്‍കുട്ടികളില്‍ അജ്മല്‍ഷായും, പെണ്‍കുട്ടികളില്‍ നിതുഷയും വ്യക്തിഗതചാമ്പ്യമാരായി.
കോട്ടയത്ത് വെച്ച് നടന്ന യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റി അത്ലറ്റിക്മീറ്റില്‍ കായിക അധ്യാപകന്‍ ശ്രീജിത് സാറിന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തില്‍ കോളേജില്‍ നിന്നും സ്പോര്‍ട്സ് ടീം പങ്കെടുക്കുകയും അജ്മല്‍ഷാ 400 മീറ്ററില്‍ സമ്മാനം നേടുകയും ചെയ്തു.
ആഘോഷങ്ങള്‍
ഈ അധ്യയനവര്‍ഷത്തില്‍ യൂണിയന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തില്‍ എല്ലാവിധ ആഘോഷവും വളരെ ഭംഗിയോടെയും പ്രൌഢിയോടെയും ആഘോഷിക്കുകയുണ്ടായി. ക്രിസ്തുമസ്, ന്യൂഇയര്‍, യൂത്ത്ഡേ, റിപ്പബ്ളിക് ഡേ, അധ്യാപകദിനം തുടങ്ങിയവ കുട്ടികളുടെ വിവിധ കലാപരിപാടികളോടെ വിപുലമായി ആഘോഷിച്ചു. റിപ്പബ്ളിക് ഡേയില്‍ നടത്തലിയ മോക് പാര്‍ളിമെന്റ് കോളേജ് യൂണിയന്റെ ചരിത്രത്തില്‍ ഒരു പുതിയ ഏട് എഴുതിചേര്‍ത്തു എന്നത് പ്രസ്താവ്യയോഗ്യമാണ്.
ആര്‍ട്സ്ഡേ
കോളേജിന്റെ ദിനങ്ങളില്‍ മറക്കാനാവാത്ത ഓര്‍മ്മകള്‍ സമ്മാനിച്ച ഒരു ദിനമായിരുന്നു കോളേജ് ആര്‍ട്സ് ഡേ. 1.06.2010ല്‍ പ്രിന്‍സിപ്പല്‍ ചാന്ദിനി മാഡം ആര്‍ട്സ് ഡേ ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തു. സ്റ്റാഫ് അഡ്വൈസര്‍ ബിന്ദുമിസ്, ധന്യമിസ്, ആര്‍ട്സ് ക്ലബ് സെക്രട്ടറി ബ്രിജിത്ത് തുടങ്ങിയവര്‍ ആശംസകള്‍ നേര്‍ന്നു.
തുടര്‍ന്ന് നടന്ന വര്‍ണ്ണാഭമായ കലാപരിപാടികളില്‍ എല്ലാവരുംതന്നെ നാല് ഹൌസുകളായിതിരിഞ്ഞ് പങ്കെടുത്തു. സ്റ്റേജ് മല്‍സരങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് പുറമെ സ്റ്റേജ് ഇതര മല്‍സരങ്ങളിലും കുട്ടികള്‍ ആവേശപൂര്‍വ്വം പങ്കെടുത്തു. പേള്‍ഹൌസ് ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതല്‍ പോയിന്റ് കരസ്ഥമാക്കി ഓവറോള്‍ ചാമ്പന്‍ന്മാരായി. നിനു ഏഞ്ചല്‍ടോം കലാപ്രതിഭയായും തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ടു.
ലോകപരിസ്ഥിതി ദിനാചരണം
ലോക പരിസ്ഥിതി ദിനമായ ജൂണ്‍ 5 വളരെ വിപുലമായ പരിപാടികളോടെ ആഘോഷിക്കുകയുണ്ടായി. പരിസ്ഥിതി സംരക്ഷണ മുദ്രവാക്യങ്ങള്‍ എഴൂതി പ്ലേക്കാര്‍ഡുകളും മുദ്രവാക്യങ്ങളുമായി വിദ്യാര്‍ത്ഥികള്‍ കോളേജിനടുത്തുള്ള കുഞ്ചാട്ടുകര ജി.എച്ച്.എസ്.എസിലേക്ക് റാലി നടത്തി. സ്കൂളില്‍ വെച്ച് നടന്ന പൊതുയോഗത്തില്‍ സമൂഹത്തിലെ പ്രമുഖ വ്യക്തികള്‍ പ്രഭാഷണങ്ങള്‍ നടത്തി. തുടര്‍ന്ന് കോളേജ് സെക്രട്ടറി ജെയ്നി സാറിന്റെയും, അധ്യാപകരുടെയും നേതൃത്വത്തില്‍ സ്കൂള്‍ വളപ്പില്‍ വിദ്യാര്‍ത്ഥികള്‍ മരങ്ങള്‍ നട്ടുപിടിപ്പിക്കുകയുണ്ടായി. അതിനുശേഷം കോളേജ് കാമ്പസിലും മരങ്ങള്‍ നട്ടുപിടിപ്പിച്ചു.
എസ്.യു.പി.ഡബ്ലിയു പ്രവര്‍ത്തനം
കോളേജ് യൂണിയന്റെ കീഴില്‍ വിദ്യാര്‍ത്ഥികളുടെ സാമൂഹിക^മാനസിക ഉന്നമനം ലക്ഷ്യമിട്ട് നടത്തുന്ന എസ്.യു.പി.ഡബ്ലിയു. ഉന്നതമായ പല പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങള്‍ കാഴ്ചവെയ്ക്കുകയുണ്ടായി. യൂണിയന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തില്‍ നടന്ന വൃദ്ധസദനത്തിലേക്ക് സന്ദര്‍ശനം ഒരു പുതിയ അനുഭവമായി. സമൂഹത്തിന്റെ മാനസാക്ഷിക്കുമ്നുപില്‍ ചോദ്യചിഹ്നമായി നില്‍ക്കുന്ന ഒരുകൂട്ടം വൃദ്ധരെയാണ് അവിടെ കാണാന്‍ സാധിച്ചത്. കുട്ടികളില്‍ നിന്നും മാനേജ്മെന്റില്‍ നിന്നുമായി സ്വരൂപിച്ച ഒരു തുക അന്തേവാസികളുടെ പരിചരണത്തിനായി അവിടെ ഏല്‍പിക്കുവാന്‍ സാധിച്ചു എന്നുള്ളത് ചാരിതാര്‍ത്ഥ്യമാണ്.

വിദ്യാര്‍ത്ഥികളുടെ സര്‍ഗ്ഗവാസനകളെ പരിപോഷിപ്പിക്കുക എന്ന ഉദ്ദേശ്യത്തോടെ കൂടി കോളേജ് യൂണിയന്റെ പ്രധാന സംരംഭമായ മാഗസിന്‍ വര്‍ക്ക് നേരത്തെ തത്തെ തീര്‍ക്കുവാന്‍ സാധിച്ചു. മാഗസിന്‍ എഡിറ്റര്‍ മുബാറക്കിന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിലുള്ള മാഗസിന്‍ കമ്മിറ്റിയുടെ പ്രവര്‍ത്തനം സ്തുര്‍ഹമാണ്.
ക്രെഡിറ്റ് ആന്റ് സെമസ്റ്റര്‍ സംവിധാനം നിലവില്‍ നന്നതിനുശേഷമുള്ള ആദ്യബാച്ച് എന്ന നിലയില്‍ സമയപരിമിതിയും മറ്റും യൂണിയന്റെ പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങളെ ബാധിച്ചുവെന്ന് പറയാതെ വയ്യ. എങ്കിലും വിദ്യാര്‍ത്ഥികളുടെയും സ്ഥാപനത്തിന്റെയും താല്‍പര്യങ്ങളെ മുന്‍നിര്‍ത്തി പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കാനും പരിപാടികള്‍ സംഘടിപ്പിക്കാനും കഴിഞ്ഞുവെന്നു തന്നെയാണ് വിശ്വാസം.
പരിപാടികള്‍ വന്‍ വിജയമാക്കുന്നതിന് ഞങ്ങളോട് സഹകരിച്ച മാനേജ്മെന്റിനോടും, ചെയര്‍മാന്‍ അബൂബക്കര്‍ സാര്‍, സെക്രട്ടറി ജയ്നി സാര്‍, പ്രിന്‍സിപ്പാള്‍ ചാന്ദിനിമാഡം, വൈസ് പ്രിന്‍സിപ്പല്‍ അജിത്കുമാര്‍ സാര്‍, ഞങ്ങളുടെ പ്രിയ അധ്യാപകര്‍, അനധ്യാപകര്‍, വിദ്യാര്‍ത്ഥി സുഹൃത്തുക്കള്‍ തുടങ്ങിവരോടുള്ള നന്ദിയും കടപ്പാടും അവര്‍ണ്ണനീയമാണ്. സര്‍വ്വോപരി ഞങ്ങളെ നയിച്ച സര്‍വ്വേശ്വരനും ഈ തരണത്തില്‍ നന്ദി അര്‍പ്പിക്കുന്നു.
പരിമിതികള്‍ ഒട്ടേെ ഉണ്ടെങ്കിലും അതിനെയെല്ലാം തരണം ചെയ്യാന്‍ ആവുന്നത്ര ശ്രമിച്ചിരുന്നു. പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങളുടെ അവസാനം വരെ വളരെ അത്മാര്‍ത്ഥതയോടും കാര്യക്ഷതയും ഉയര്‍ത്തിപ്പിടിക്കാന്‍ സാധിച്ചു എന്ന വിശ്വാസത്തോടെ ഈ റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ട് നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് മുന്നില്‍ സമര്‍പ്പിക്കുന്നു.
എം.ഇ.എസ് ട്രെയിനിംഗ് കോളേജിനെ സംബന്ധിച്ചിടത്തോളം കഴിഞ്ഞ ഒരുവര്‍ഷം നേട്ടങ്ങുടേതായിരുന്നു. സജീവരായ ഒരുകൂട്ടം വ്യക്തിത്വങ്ങളുടെ ഒത്തൊരുമയോടെയുള്ള പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങള്‍ കോളജിന്റെ ഓരോ മണല്‍ത്തരികളിലും സജീവത പുലര്‍ത്തിയിരുന്നു. സഹവര്‍ത്തിത്വത്തോടെയുള്ള പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങള്‍ കോളേജിന്റെ ഓരോ മണല്‍ത്തരികളേയും പുല്‍കൊടികളെപോലും പുളകംകൊള്ളിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
എം.ഇ.എസ് കോളജിനെ പുതിയ ചുവടുവെപ്പിന്റെ ഒരുവര്‍ഷമായിരുന്നു 2009^2010. യൂണിയന്‍ തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് മുതല്‍ തുടര്‍ന്നിങ്ങോട്ട് ഇന്നുവരെയുള്ള ഓരേദിവസവും കോളേജിന്റെ ഒട്ടുമിക്ക പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങളിലും സജീവത നിലനിര്‍ത്താന്‍ കഴിഞ്ഞു എന്നതില്‍ ഞങ്ങള്‍ കൃതാര്‍ത്ഥനാണ്. അതിനാല്‍ അഭിമാനത്തോടെ ഈ വര്‍ഷത്തെ യൂണിയന്‍ റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ട് നിങ്ങളുടെ മുന്നില്‍ സമര്‍പ്പിക്കുന്നു.
യൂണിയന്‍ തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ്
സമകാലിക ചുറ്റുപാടുകളില്‍ നിന്നും തികച്ചും വ്യത്യസ്തമായ സമാധാനപരവും സൌഹൃദപൂര്‍ണ്ണവുമായ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പായിരുന്നു എം.ഇ.എസ് കോളേജിൌല്‍ നടന്നത്. ബഹുമാനപ്പെട്ട പ്രിന്‍സിപ്പലിന്റെ സാന്നിദ്ധ്യത്തിലായിരുന്നു തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ്. കോളേജിന്റെ നന്മയ്ക്കും ഉന്നമനത്തിനും വേണ്ടി പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുന്ന നിഷ്കാമര്‍ത്ഥികളായിരിക്കണം പ്രതിനിധികള്‍ എന്ന ലക്ഷ്യബോധത്തോടെ എല്ലാവരും യൂണിയന്‍ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പില്‍ പങ്കെടുത്തത്.

കോളേജിന്റെ ദിനങ്ങളില്‍ മറക്കാനാവാത്ത ഓര്‍മ്മകള്‍ സമ്മാനിച്ച ഒരു ദിനമായിരുന്നു കോളേജ് ആര്‍ട്സ് ഡേ. 1.06.2010ല്‍ പ്രിന്‍സിപ്പല്‍ ചാന്ദിനി മാഡം ആര്‍ട്സ് ഡേ ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തു. സ്റ്റാഫ് അഡ്വൈസര്‍ ബിന്ദുമിസ്, ധന്യമിസ്, ആര്‍ട്സ് ക്ലബ് സെക്രട്ടറി ബ്രിജിത്ത് തുടങ്ങിയവര്‍ ആശംസകള്‍ നേര്‍ന്നു.
തുടര്‍ന്ന് നടന്ന വര്‍ണ്ണാഭമായ കലാപരിപാടികളില്‍ എല്ലാവരുംതന്നെ നാല് ഹൌസുകളായിതിരിഞ്ഞ് പങ്കെടുത്തു. സ്റ്റേജ് മല്‍സരങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് പുറമെ സ്റ്റേജ് ഇതര മല്‍സരങ്ങളിലും കുട്ടികള്‍ ആവേശപൂര്‍വ്വം പങ്കെടുത്തു. പേള്‍ഹൌസ് ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതല്‍ പോയിന്റ് കരസ്ഥമാക്കി ഓവറോള്‍ ചാമ്പന്‍ന്മാരായി. നിനു ഏഞ്ചല്‍ടോം കലാപ്രതിഭയായും തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ടു.
ലോകപരിസ്ഥിതി ദിനാചരണം
ലോക പരിസ്ഥിതി ദിനമായ ജൂണ്‍ 5 വളരെ വിപുലമായ പരിപാടികളോടെ ആഘോഷിക്കുകയുണ്ടായി. പരിസ്ഥിതി സംരക്ഷണ മുദ്രവാക്യങ്ങള്‍ എഴൂതി പ്ലേക്കാര്‍ഡുകളും മുദ്രവാക്യങ്ങളുമായി വിദ്യാര്‍ത്ഥികള്‍ കോളേജിനടുത്തുള്ള കുഞ്ചാട്ടുകര ജി.എച്ച്.എസ്.എസിലേക്ക് റാലി നടത്തി. സ്കൂളില്‍ വെച്ച് നടന്ന പൊതുയോഗത്തില്‍ സമൂഹത്തിലെ പ്രമുഖ വ്യക്തികള്‍ പ്രഭാഷണങ്ങള്‍ നടത്തി. തുടര്‍ന്ന് കോളേജ് സെക്രട്ടറി ജെയ്നി സാറിന്റെയും, അധ്യാപകരുടെയും നേതൃത്വത്തില്‍ സ്കൂള്‍ വളപ്പില്‍ വിദ്യാര്‍ത്ഥികള്‍ മരങ്ങള്‍ നട്ടുപിടിപ്പിക്കുകയുണ്ടായി. അതിനുശേഷം കോളേജ് കാമ്പസിലും മരങ്ങള്‍ നട്ടുപിടിപ്പിച്ചു.
എസ്.യു.പി.ഡബ്ലിയു പ്രവര്‍ത്തനം
കോളേജ് യൂണിയന്റെ കീഴില്‍ വിദ്യാര്‍ത്ഥികളുടെ സാമൂഹിക^മാനസിക ഉന്നമനം ലക്ഷ്യമിട്ട് നടത്തുന്ന എസ്.യു.പി.ഡബ്ലിയു. ഉന്നതമായ പല പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങള്‍ കാഴ്ചവെയ്ക്കുകയുണ്ടായി. യൂണിയന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തില്‍ നടന്ന വൃദ്ധസദനത്തിലേക്ക് സന്ദര്‍ശനം ഒരു പുതിയ അനുഭവമായി. സമൂഹത്തിന്റെ മാനസാക്ഷിക്കുമ്നുപില്‍ ചോദ്യചിഹ്നമായി നില്‍ക്കുന്ന ഒരുകൂട്ടം വൃദ്ധരെയാണ് അവിടെ കാണാന്‍ സാധിച്ചത്. കുട്ടികളില്‍ നിന്നും മാനേജ്മെന്റില്‍ നിന്നുമായി സ്വരൂപിച്ച ഒരു തുക അന്തേവാസികളുടെ പരിചരണത്തിനായി അവിടെ ഏല്‍പിക്കുവാന്‍ സാധിച്ചു എന്നുള്ളത് ചാരിതാര്‍ത്ഥ്യമാണ്.

വിദ്യാര്‍ത്ഥികളുടെ സര്‍ഗ്ഗവാസനകളെ പരിപോഷിപ്പിക്കുക എന്ന ഉദ്ദേശ്യത്തോടെ കൂടി കോളേജ് യൂണിയന്റെ പ്രധാന സംരംഭമായ മാഗസിന്‍ വര്‍ക്ക് നേരത്തെ തത്തെ തീര്‍ക്കുവാന്‍ സാധിച്ചു. മാഗസിന്‍ എഡിറ്റര്‍ മുബാറക്കിന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിലുള്ള മാഗസിന്‍ കമ്മിറ്റിയുടെ പ്രവര്‍ത്തനം സ്തുര്‍ഹമാണ്.
ക്രെഡിറ്റ് ആന്റ് സെമസ്റ്റര്‍ സംവിധാനം നിലവില്‍ നന്നതിനുശേഷമുള്ള ആദ്യബാച്ച് എന്ന നിലയില്‍ സമയപരിമിതിയും മറ്റും യൂണിയന്റെ പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങളെ ബാധിച്ചുവെന്ന് പറയാതെ വയ്യ. എങ്കിലും വിദ്യാര്‍ത്ഥികളുടെയും സ്ഥാപനത്തിന്റെയും താല്‍പര്യങ്ങളെ മുന്‍നിര്‍ത്തി പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കാനും പരിപാടികള്‍ സംഘടിപ്പിക്കാനും കഴിഞ്ഞുവെന്നു തന്നെയാണ് വിശ്വാസം.
പരിപാടികള്‍ വന്‍ വിജയമാക്കുന്നതിന് ഞങ്ങളോട് സഹകരിച്ച മാനേജ്മെന്റിനോടും, ചെയര്‍മാന്‍ അബൂബക്കര്‍ സാര്‍, സെക്രട്ടറി ജയ്നി സാര്‍, പ്രിന്‍സിപ്പാള്‍ ചാന്ദിനിമാഡം, വൈസ് പ്രിന്‍സിപ്പല്‍ അജിത്കുമാര്‍ സാര്‍, ഞങ്ങളുടെ പ്രിയ അധ്യാപകര്‍, അനധ്യാപകര്‍, വിദ്യാര്‍ത്ഥി സുഹൃത്തുക്കള്‍ തുടങ്ങിവരോടുള്ള നന്ദിയും കടപ്പാടും അവര്‍ണ്ണനീയമാണ്. സര്‍വ്വോപരി ഞങ്ങളെ നയിച്ച സര്‍വ്വേശ്വരനും ഈ തരണത്തില്‍ നന്ദി അര്‍പ്പിക്കുന്നു.
പരിമിതികള്‍ ഒട്ടേെ ഉണ്ടെങ്കിലും അതിനെയെല്ലാം തരണം ചെയ്യാന്‍ ആവുന്നത്ര ശ്രമിച്ചിരുന്നു. പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങളുടെ അവസാനം വരെ വളരെ അത്മാര്‍ത്ഥതയോടും കാര്യക്ഷതയും ഉയര്‍ത്തിപ്പിടിക്കാന്‍ സാധിച്ചു എന്ന വിശ്വാസത്തോടെ ഈ റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ട് നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് മുന്നില്‍ സമര്‍പ്പിക്കുന്നു.

At MES College, benchmarks in excellence is created not only in studies but also in sports and games, for the integrated development of the individual. This report is a compilation of achievements made in the field of sports and games during the year 2009-2010.
The Sports Day was held on the___________at 10.00 am. The guest of honor was Mr. K.A. Anson, a former member of the Indian football team. The chief guest was welcomed with a march past commanded by the General Captain, Ninu Angel Tom followed by the four houses led by their house captains Ali of Diamond house, Saneeb of Emerald house, Anu Rahim of Pearl house and Faisal of Ruby house. Before the competitions began, we had an Opening Ceremony. The opening ceremony commenced with an invocation to Lord Almighty. A prayer song was sung by members representing each house. Mrs. Chandini Shaji, Principal of the college, Professor V.R. Ajith Kumar, the Vice Principal of the college, Professor E. Narayana Kaimal, Principal, College of Advanced Studies, Professor Sreejith, Physical Education teacher and other teachers of M.E.S Training College were present on the Dias. The College Union Chairman A. Assainar welcomed all those present in the gathering. The Welcome Address was given by Professor V.C. Ajith Kumar., Mr. K.A. Anson the chief guest of the day delivered the inaugural speech and the sports meet was declared open. It was followed by the oath taking ceremony. The oath was pledged by the General Captain, Ninu Angel Tom to the house captains, Ali of Diamond house, Saneeb of Emerald house, Anu Rahim of Pearl house and Faisal of Ruby house. This was followed by an exercise drill from the four houses. The formal function of the sports day at M.E.S Training College wad drawing to a close. Professor V.R. Ajith Kumar presented a memento to the chief guest to honor his presence. The curtain for the ceremony was drawn with the vote of thanks given by Ajmal, the Sports Vice Captain.
The competitions of the sports day began with the 100m running race. There were competitions on other events like long jump, shot put, javelin throw and discus throw. Separate competitions were organized for men and women. All time favourite events like lemon and spoon race, tug of war and 4x100m relay were also organized. The events were conducted with great spirit accompanied by loud cheerings from members of each houses. The Sports Day of 2009- 2010 was thus a great success. special thanks should be extended to the cooperation and efforts taken by Professor Sreejith, Physical Education teacher, all the other teachers and volunteers of M.E.S Training College.
As the day came to a close, students settled down for the Prize Distribution Ceremony. Professor Sreejith, Physical Education teacher distributed the prizes to the students who proved their potentials in varied sports events during the year. The Overall Championship was won by the Emerald house. The Individual Men’s Champion was Ajmal of English option and Women’s Championship was bagged by Neethushah from physical science. The colorful function was concluded by the National Anthem.
